The digital J2000 and the analog J4 Wood Moisture Meters are great for any wood application. Used by lumber inspectors, general contractors and the serious woodworker, these units feature a rugged plastic case and have a built-in calibration check. The J2000 has a range of 6-40% moisture, while the J4 tests from 6-30%. Each unit operates on one 9V battery (included). The integral electrode pins can penetrate up to 5/16".
