The Porta-Probe, offered by Seedburo, is a unique portable sampling system that’s ideal for sampling grain bins, trucks, rail cars and other vessels. Commonly used in remote locations, the Porta-Probe is powered by a 9HP Honda engine, eliminating the need for electrical current or explosion-proof fittings. Samples are obtained without dragging heavy equipment to the top of bins or over flat storage areas. The special suction hose and the lightweight, aluminum tube sections are all you need at the grain surface. Samples are contained within the system and can be collected at ground level outside the bin. The Porta-Probe can reach depths up to 110 ft. Temperature cables can be inserted into grain bins with this system and cylindrical tubing allows for the application of fumigation pellets. The Porta-Probe Sampler base unit features a 9" dia. x 16" H collection cyclone, vacuum pump, 9 HP Honda gas engine, hose reel, J-bend, two triangular sample pans and one 4 foot threaded intake tip section.
