These exceptional quality germinators are fully automated, creating an accurately controlled, dry test environment for covered samples. Allows for simultaneous testing of different samples within each container. The advanced air circulation system assures the technician of even, constant heat and uniform refrigeration of samples by enveloping each container with conditioned air and maintaining a continuous flow throughout the unit. Perforated aluminum trays are flanged to keep contents from rolling and may be turned over to form a flat shelf.

Each unit is equipped with interior fluorescent light banks on the door to provide for complete light/dark photo testing. All models have heavy-gauge stainless edge protector and handle. The door has spring-loaded door closer and magnetic gasket for positive seal. Heavy duty stainless steel air duct, fan motor, and evaporator cover to prevent damage to vital parts. Fully-contained, hermetically-sealed refrigeration system. No additional plumbing needed. White, poly-coated steel interior is bright, durable, and easy to clean. Compressor has oil cooler to improve operation in high ambient temperature conditions and extend compressor life. Four casters, two lockable. White textured steel exterior provides a durable, yet less expensive, option. Two and a half inches of wall insulation make these units some of the most energy-efficient in the industry. Quiet, bottom-mounted compressor, 1/3 HP, provides plenty of capacity for all kinds of applications.  Environmentally friendly 134A refrigerant.

Interiors are equipped with adjustable stainless steel tray slides, ten (10) pair are provided in each chamber as standard. Twenty (20) 14" x 18" ‘half size’ trays are furnished per chamber, two (2) per slide.

Our Model SDA8300 Dry Germinators are our most basic models. An economical and efficient solution, these units operate manually on light/dark and cool/heat cycles.

Models SDA8700 Dry Germinators have all the automatic controls and functions of the other models and are equipped with a 7-day recording thermometer. This provides an accurate, permanent record of test results.
