SS-LA LAB
SIZE TREATER
The Gustafson Model SS-LA is a
scaled down version of the SS-1 seed treater.
It is designed for the seedsman wanting a laboratory treater
with the features of a full scale
Mist-O-Matic seed treater. It is ideally suited
for small batch or laboratory treating and for those wanting to
duplicate in-plant processes.
The SS-LA features stainless
steel construction, a minimum of moving parts
for trouble free operation and a variable speed drive for a
choice of four blending
speeds. Also includes 3' x 4" coating chamber with flighting
and rods mixing element plus an interchangeable nylon brush.
The hinged trough drops away for
easy and complete clean-out between seed
types. Comes complete with one-gallon stainless steel premix
tank with circulating pump, single metering tank and four pairs
of chemical metering cups
(.5cc, 1.5cc, 3cc and 6cc).
The unit operates on a ½ HP
motor for the blending chamber, 1/15 HP motor
for the premix tank and 1/15 HP motor for the treater head. All
motors are 110V, 220V 60Hz/1 PH
only. Minimum capacity 600 lbs. (272
Kg), maximum 3900 pounds (1131Kgs) per hour based on average
weight of wheat. Dims. 39 ¼"
