The CARTER DAY Precision Sizer is designed to perform precise width and thickness separations by employing slotted or round perforated (hardened) cylindrical screens. The cylinder has 12" inside diameter. As material feeds in one end, it rolls and tumbles gently upon itself covering more than 1/3 of the perforations at all times. The material smaller than the perforations falls through the screen. The tumbling action imparts a gentle polish to the material, but cannot injure even delicate materials.

Unit comes complete with ½ HP, 1750 RPM motor with D.C. controller, less tester shells. Ship wt. 185 lbs.
