PSION WORKABOUT: This model has a 12 line x 39 character LCD display with backlight and graphics. Designed with a powerful 16-bit multitasking operating system with PC-based programming tools. Has auto-ID and communication peripheral options including RS-232, bar code wand and laser/ccd scanner. Internal memory ranges from 256KB to 1 MB RAM with two Solid State Disk drives for up to 16 MB. Features a separate numeric key section and a LIF cradle port for data transfer and recharging. The base unit is available in gray or yellow with two interface combinations; bar code/RS-232 or TTL/RS-232. Ideal for taking field notes or on-combine data collection. Psion Workabout Package includes the Psion Workabout (1MB with RS-232/bar code, docking holster w/LIF, AC adaptor, PsiWin Serial Link, Rechargeable battery pack, (2) 1MB Solid State Disks, PC cable D9F/D95, and Harvest Software.
