PERTEN LABORATORY MILL 3303

The Lab Mill 3303 is a disc type mill for grinding of grains, peas, maize, soybeans and other products with low fat content. Typical sample size 5-50g. This mill is approved for sample preparation for oven and NIR moisture tests. Adopted by AACC, standard No. 55-30, to determine wheat hardness by PSI (Particle Size Index). The particle size is dependent on the disc type and the discs' distance. The distance is adjustable and three different types of discs are available.

•TYPE 1 - STANDARD is used for determination of moisture content (included with mill)
•TYPE 2 - FINE is used for PSI or when a fine particle size is required (optional)
•TYPE 3 - COARSE is used for oats and other grains with high moisture content (optional)

Sample cup size is 250ml. Extra cups with lids available for handling and storage.  Operation is direct drive. Disc dia. 75mm. Capacity 50g in 10-15 seconds. Dims 11" L x 6" W x 19" H (280 x 150 x 480mm). Net wt. 36 lbs. (16Kg).

A motor driven rubber paddle Mill Feeder can be added to any of the mills on this page to provide a consistent feeding of the mill. This improves the grinding of high moisture grain and of grain with the hull remaining (i.e. barley, oats and rice). The feeding of feed raw material and coarse ground products is also improved.
