LABORATORY SEED AND
GRAIN DRYER
 The
Grainman ® Laboratory
Seed & Grain Dryer has been designed
to combine flexibility and efficiency and is easy to use.
It is used to dry laboratory samples of grain and seed in
order to estimate
hulling and recovery of various grains.
The drying time
will vary according to the variety and type of grain
to be tested, as well as the percentage of humidity already
in the sample. The outer cabinet and control box are made
of stainless steel and the optional sieves are made of brass
to assure rust free use for many years.
Complete with
6-¾" diameter x 6-½" wide fan wheel, energy efficient
two-speed centrifugal fan, capacitor, and auto thermal protection.
The unit allows for drying of samples at a continuous low
temperature.
 The
No.6612 Dryer has a 1450-watt stainless
steel heater assembly with protective
guard, spacer and brackets. It
is isolated, pre-wired and tested at the
factory prior to shipment. The finned
stainless steel heating element is
10½" long and is 120V.
Brass sieves
(not included) are 8" in diameter
and can be purchased in 2", 4"
or 8" heights, depending upon the capacity
you require. The 2" sieves hold
approximately 85 cubic inches, the
4" holds approximately 175 cubic inches,
and the 8" holds about 352 cubic
inches of material. Four covers are
supplied with the machine for closing
off unused positions on the dryer.

control box is 120V, 1PH, 60Hz and includes high temperature
limit protection,
digital indication of real time temperature and targeted temperature.
